Actually. him killing rin was his mission. i agree with the emotions part. after knowing that obito was "dead" rin and kakashi was a two man team. kakashi aslo lost his captain. so the only ties he had was rin. remember. kakashi waa a part of the anbu. this also explains him awakening his sharigan true powers. and since kakashi is a strategic fighter he just never used it because he knew over using his m.s would resort into him losing the light in it.

First of all, being ordered to kill your teammate is idiotic, but then again, the elders of the village have done idiotic things before. That particular idea did not occur to me, but considering what Danzo convinced Itachi to do, i wouldn't put it past them to have Kakashi, the obedient little soldier that he was, kill Rin.

kakashi awakened ms during the time skip or when he fought deidara, so yah

yeah man... he awakened his MS after part 1... after Sandaime (3rd) Hokage's death.

I don't think so. Kakashi wasn't surprised in the least that he stabbed rin. It wasn't for MS but it certainly wasn't an accident.

hi guys,i have a theory what do you think if zetsu encountered and copied kakashi's chakra and killed her so that obito could see that and make him think it was kakashi who killed her. i think it was a trap for obito so he could see that and get angry with kakashi. remember madara wanted to use obito for his plan.

Lol he actually said i awakened a new technique when you where training naruto lol...

that can mean he had it for years and just learned how to use it within the time skip remember theres no one of importance that died within the time skip that would allow kakashi to awaken MS the only people that were important to him were obito and rin

, how? shared vision may be an answer and to why we havent seen it during the fight because maybe it happens only when kakashi is emotionally disturbed, like when voldemort is disturbed harry sees visions of what voledmort is upto at that particular moment xd

Even if they could shared vision obito wouldn't know much about Kakashi since he always covers is eye

There's no way he killed Rin for his own purposes, & I'm just wondering, even tho we know almost for certain he didn't unlock MS until later on, why didn't this event unlock MS for Kakashi? Was Rin not that close of a friend as we thought? Or did Kakashi already know what he had to do, and so he basically prepared for what was going to happen and how to handle it emotionally.

He learnt all those by himself because he was an uchiha and he might have had an idea how to use it... The situation here is different. Its kakashi here, who's a non-uchiha and doesn't even has somewhat ideas of MS!

I'm almost positive that killing Rin should have unlocked MS for Kakashi, idk if he knew how to unlock MS at the time but regardless it should have happened. Its almost positive Madara set this up, the question is if this is what really happened or what Madara wants Obito to see.

People you guys are not thinking, how on earth can kakashi get his ms when his sharingan was only at 2 tomaos ( two stars). And at that time when kakashi, rin, and obito were kids no one was talking about ms.

Their eye's are linked.. Obito saw what Kakashi saw. So if one of them unlocked MS, the other would as well. Also, we have no idea who Rin is. She could be a spy for all we know. Kakashi was crying, so he knew what he was doing. Think what you will, he did it. He didn't want to, but he did. Sorry.
