Obito can beat him. It's impossible - unknowingly - to foresee his MS ability. Countering it requires S/T jutsu. Without that, he's practically unbeatable without thorough preparation (as Konan did, but again that required a vast amount of knowledge about his abilities).

The other is Minato. You can't really foresee his abilities either. If you toss a kunai towards an enemy, he may just block it with a kunai, thus creating the momentum for a fast attack, before he can go sage mode.

Heck, even Hidan could beat any opponent (without knowledge), if he used his brain a little bit...

So no he isn't unbeatable, no shinobi are. Any shinobi, can be taken by surprise. Even in fair and square 1 on 1 battles.

Futile. Obito can move freely while intangible... He can pass through all of Hashirama's jutsu and absorb him. Hashi with no knowledge, will be defeated in the 1st class. Why do you think Obito made it this far? Cause he simply removed any opponent in their very first clash. Easy as that. Obito is not the strongest of the 2, but he could still win in many given scenarios.
