Who raised/took care of naruto?

i mean c'on someone must've took care of him until he was able to live on his own.naruto always says iruka was the first person to acknowledge him but what about the person who raised naruto,a child naruto must've had some sort of good feelings for him/her.This was nvr explained!!this curiousity is painful!
