Who presents best Challenge against Hashirama (other than Madara)

Dead or alive, I believe Prime Hiruzen is among the few that can present a challenge for Hashirama.

Hm, i would like to believe that, but i can't say at the moment.
No one has seen Prime Hiruzen, but i really hope we do soon. He is a bit like Tobirama, no one really knows of his capabilites yet.

Yeah, while he is Edo he is technically in his Prime, his chakra reserves have reached its peak like when he was in his Prime, I would also like to see some of Tobirama as well.

kakashi makes a good challenge against hashirama

only if kakashi learns to use his ms like obtio dose, then maybe. but other wise no, seeing as if he did a kamui large enough to trap his whole body in the other place then he would die from using to much chakra, seeing as hashi has an outstanding amount of chakra it would then take most if not all of kakashi's to trap him in it. plus hes prolly fast enough to pull himself away from it with wood style/

Well he is in an undying body and can regenerate, so it's not quite his prime, it's more of an improved Prime.

Able to use Edo, and as someone has already stated, RDS= Reaper Death Seal, or Shiki Fujin

Challenge him? To what extent? I bet a lot of shinobi could challenge him but to win over him it could take tobi and madara (without hashi's cell).

I don't think Itachi (non edo) would give Hashirama much of a challenge.

I'd say Nagato, Naruto, and Sasuke could.

Sasuke is more of a wait, and see case for me though. Just waiting for when he inevitably catches up to Naruto's power.
