Who needs more screentime. Kiba or Shibo?

They both were on the former team 8 and have great tracking abilites.

Kiba has great taijutsu and coordination with his dog Akamaru. He said that he would show off his new moves and be more help but then he was totally forgotten about.

Shino is an excellent strategist and teamed up with his clans insects is an unstoppable force. He showed his abilities against Zaku and Kankuro and showed great potential. But in shippuden he has been regulated to a background character that doesnt really fo much.

Who would you like to see more of?

Definitely Shino. I don't recall him fighting an epic battle with the SN5 or Akatsuki or any villain group.

I'm going to say "panel time" instead of "screen time". As screen time they get plenty of. Panels, not so much.

Shino needs more screen time because he has had few'er battles.

Don't they have roughly the same amount of battles? Shino has Zaku, Kankuro and the short scuffle with "Tobi" and Konan. Kiba has Naruto, Sakon/Ukon and the short scuffle with Preta Path. If you count only actual fights they have the same amount. If you count scuffles (with no actual fights, but potential ones) than Shino has one extra. I'm not counting White Zetsu, though.

Let's see...

1. In Kiba's case he, unlike Shino, hasn't shown a new technique (whose shown two throughout shippuden, one if you count only the current war). Also, while he has more techniques (seven to Shino's four), when was the last time he used something other than Fang Passing Fang ( Gatsūga)? We haven't seen Beast Human Clone, Four Legs or Double-headed Wolf in a while.
2. They both have the same amount of actual fights, two being in part one and none in shippuden. Unless you count potential fights that never kicked off. I would put Kiba slightly more as he's underrated. At least most view Shino as strong.
3. Overall least amount of panel count would be Shino. But again they both need panel time. While Kiba has the most he's less treated kindly by the fandom or the actual manga. The fandom tends to view Kiba as moronic due to Kishimoto portraying Kiba as arrogant, making laughable claims about killing Sasuke and Madara or being a general jerk. Shino, while we know less about him and people do tend to forget some traits of his, he's at least better treated by the fandom.
4. Another one for Kiba. His most proficient ability, his sense of smell, is said to be stronger than a nin-hound's. From that he has bragging rights. Yet more than once has it been easily dealt with by other characters (Naruto, Sakon or Ukon and Karin) having easily taken advantage -Naruto unintentionally- of its double-edge sword. This is another example of my early mention that Kiba is "badly treated" in the manga and few of the fandom seem to respect him as a Shinobi. It's great he has the best nose, sucks that it gets fooled so easily.

Who needs it? They both do.
Who would I like to see more of? Without a doubt, it would be Shino.
