Alright. First of all I need you to tell me what you know about the element of Earth. It's strengths, it's weaknesses, anything at all that you know
Earth is the most solid of the 5 basic elements. It is strong to water, most often displacing the water during contact. It is weak however to Lightning due to lightning's ability to pierce and destroy all that is in its path. Earth is a very versatile element, usable in many situations such as espionage, offensive purposes, defensive purposes and even forming structures that have been used for shelter or holding prisoners. A notable user of earth style would be Onoki, he has shown multiple different uses of the earth element, even being able to alter the weight of most objects.

Good Good. Earth is useful because you'll be fighting on it more often than not. Naturally, a majority of earth techniques require you to be in contact with the ground.

Take a small chunk of rock in hand and shape it into a staff. You can use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy towards your foe. You can also create several staffs and throw them, but they'd have less accuracy when thrown.
After your perform that technique I want you to concentrate your chakra into an arm of your choosing, and then release it outwards to create a ring of rocks that can be flung towards your foe.

Ichigo takes a large rock off the ground and infuses it with his chakra while shaping it into a staff about a meter long. He then attacks the air for a small while to get used to the weapon.

The sound of running, feet battering against the ground the high speed. This was the only indication, or warning, of the new teacher for this old student. With a mighty flash, and one heck of a right hook, the Junior Anbu was sent packing, barrelling towards the horizon at high speeds. Naught but a twinkle to indicate his departure from the training grounds the, now two, were standing in.
With a sudden *pop*, Shayde disappeared into the ground, and not a moment later a hand extended from the ground, grabbing (Shiki) by the ankle, an dragging him into the ground before he could even do anything. After what felt like an eternity of being pulled down, deeper and deeper into the bowels of the Earth, Shayde and (Shiki) suddenly emerged from solid rock and dirt through the ceiling, entering some sort of expansive cavern. Blue glowing crystalline veins sprawled across stalactites and stalagmites, lighting the entire cavern up with pulsating luminosity, almost as though it was alive, while an underground reservoir reflected the light back, creating an ominously serene environment for this training to take place in.
"Yeah, I think this'll do. Now that we have a more appropriate venue, wanna catch me up to speed on what you've been doing up 'till now?"

Guts was surprised when he looked at his surroundings. The wide open area was something straight out of fiction. He had never seen such a Cavern. "Oh, well. Hi there Shayde. Long time no see huh? Anyway, I've learned the crossed out jutsu in this scroll." Guts tosses the scroll towards the Uchiha then grabbing his ankle to rub off the soreness. "Didn't have to do that though. Could have just taught me to do it myself.." Guts seemed to laugh off his words, waiting for Shayde to give him a request.

Without warning, or even the time to respond, Shayde tossed 3 scrolls at Guts rapid fire style, not intent on harming him, simply testing his reflexes, and preparedness for the training ahead. Just because.
"Okay, so it's been a while since we last did anything like this. Wanna show me how much you've improved in that time? Break these Jutsu down on your own, then perform them. If something has you stumped, let me know and I'll give you a hand. I still want to see how much you can gleam from simply looking at the Jutsu, and stuff like potential applications or combinations. If you can give me a good amount of detail, we'll have absolutely no problems here."
Upon giving the instruction, Shayde walked over to a nearby rock formation and took a load off. Letting out a very contented sigh, he looked back at Guts, questioning why he was watching him.
"Aaahhh... Well? Wait are you waiting for, a starting bell? Get going already."

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channelling Chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make hand seals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.
