Who needed Sharingan more? Itachi or Obito?

Tough. Itachi focuses on genjutsu and Sharingan is his means, but Obito literally uses Kamui at every chance. Itachi is left with strong senses, good shuriken usage, finger genjutsu, basic fireballs, clones, and his tools. Obito is left with...??? Basic fireball & another cool fire jutsu, twigs, and taijutsu that's weaker than Kakashi's?

Obito needed it more.

Obito. He was mediocre before he awakened his sharingan and his entire fighting style as an adult revolves around kamui, without which he would not have been nearly as powerful he was with kamui.

Whereas Itachi was regarded as a genius at an incredibly young age, and though his fighting style did center around his sharingan like every other uchiha in the show, Itachi wasn’t entirely dependent on it and would still be an extremely capable threat, one that I’d take far more seriously than obito without his sharingan

Itachi was a prodigy pre Sharingan but he definitely relies on it the most. His whole style is based around Genjutsu finishes and he uses it to disgusie his movements and tools. While Obito wasn't the best he still became a Chunin and was fighting in tge 3rd war without it.

Needed as in without sharingan they would fall in 2 secs? both of them honestly, they rely way to much in sharingan-derivated jutsu, but obito really abused Kamui.

Itachi was a well rounded genius shinobi who was highly skilled in all basic areas while Obito was not until he met Madara who handed him everything he needed.

Obito needed it more by far.

If we go by feats. obito needed it more... Obito spammed his kamui...

there are way more instances of obito using ONLY kamui, than itachi using every one of his sharingan techs combined...

So obito objectively needed his sharingan more, end of story

Obito has his sharingan activated the whole time we see him an used it every time we seen him an it was just one move.. that 1 move cause war once he awakened it he use it every time we seen him whereas Itachi deactivated his an didn't use it at all times..

With that said though, the usage between them are pretty close with maybe Obito needing it a tab bit more than Itachi.. No deactivation in Obito's case..
