Who life is the worst?

Which character has or had the worst living situation in naruto?
I would have to say either itachi or gaara.
I can't even imagine how bad it really was for those 2. Gaara father tried to have him killed countless times and itachi had to kill his whole clan cuz they were pretty much doomed anyway but he did save his brother.

Naruto and Gaara had pretty sad childhoods. Also, Gaara wasn't able to sleep for a period of time, so that must have sucked.

Gaara, No friends, father attempted murder on him countless times, alone and hated by everyone. Insomnia would of destroyed a persons mind completely.

That's like comparing apples to oranges, it really doesn't matter because their both fruit. With that said I'd have to go for Naruto. He never knew his family, was shunned by all in the village, lived alone his entire life, and carried the stigma of being a jinchuriki.
