I believe "jack" is the first name of a member of the big mam pirate crew , probably the vice captain or quarter master...
Why you may ask?
basically , when jack was mentioned the guy had horns yes?and the guy next to him had cat ears.
which could be signs of a zoan DF possibly , and remember ; one of the yonkou is gathering an army of zoan DF users.(which i believe is big mam seeing as kaido is yet to be fully introduced)
And so far the big mam pirates all have animal like qualities from what we have seen :
firstly , Pekoms has a zoan power , Tamago walks with an egg round his waist as if he had a zoan fruit of a bird , Big Mam has a highly acidic stomach like a Dinosaur (its about time we saw a few more ancient zoan fruits) or a Komodo Dragon , Bobbin: is like a bird of paradise with his weird twisty head:
the very shape of his face hints towards this , aswell as its "bobbing" action

Lucci is there with A guy that looks like a lion... both obviously zoan DF users... this can be taken as a hint
and on top of that , there is Killer from the Kidd pirates , whom are an enemy of the Big Mam pirates.(we also see pekoms and tamago too)
Basically "Jack" is a Big Mam pirate ;(seeing as somebody not being Charlotte Linlin called him Jack) he is below vice captain , but to startle so many people he may be 3rd in command... or even 4th in command , we dont know how strong the pirates are.
As we know Caeser can make devil fruits , the only one we have seen was a zoan , because he used animal DNA in order to create it , there is no DNA for a paramecia or logia fruit to use , therefore could be impossible to create. So if Caeser was hurt , this would make Big Mams hatred toward Luffy even greater , therefore jack is an important member of the big mam
