The Uzumaki have amazing vitality though, so haven't they inherited the SO6Ps body? I don't think the red hair means much. The Uzumaki clan could have had blonde hair instead, if things worked out differently. Red hair is just their trait because it stands out so much, and because it's pretty rare.

My bad on the blood relative thing, They're distant relatives. The uzumaki should be called a close relative to the senju if they shared the same lineage. Just because they share similar traits(Lifeforce) doesn't always mean they came from the same source... Pure bloods in that clan are redheads so obviously they would need a redhead ancestor...

Edit: I agree with crystal. The brother of the sage could be the "redhead" ancestor...

Uzumaki Nagato is from the Senju lineage. Uzumaki is the descendant of Ashura. (Need viz scan maybe to confirm.)
