Definitely Code Geass's Lelouch vi Britannia for me. The dude's got insane intelligence, great charisma, notable badassery, and just awesomeness in almost every category. Well except for physical stats, he's even worse off at physical activity than I am.

But yeah Lelouch is by far the most amazing protagonist in my eyes. I love Lelouch so much because he's not just any average main character. If you want the idealistic, lawful good type of character, then Geass has Suzaku. But really, it wouldn't be as fun if Suzaku was at the reins. Lelouch is a much more fitting protagonist by virtue of the fact that he's not quite so simple. He's a good person at heart and he cares about his family and friends, but he's been very much distorted by the world around him. After facing endless tragedy and betrayal, he comes to the conclusion that his home country is too corrupt for him to stand and decides to overthrow it through his own means. And how well he pulls it off indeed, Lelouch manages to pull the sort of thing that Death Note's Light would have wanted, except that Lelouch has even more charisma while still retaining a likeable personality and going through some of the most insane ups and downs I've ever seen a protagonist go through. In the end, Lelouch stays true to himself to the very end, and the last episode of the CG series is why he's my favorite protagonist of all time.

each and every character in each and every manga is boring. naruto is funny and he does not behave like full grown up boys. he still is a kid from the inside and that is the only thing which causes me to like naruto. whenever i see him all my tension goes away and i become happy and pumped up. his talks are also very interesting and each one has a lesson in it.
so, naruto is the best. No one can match him he is incredible, talented and the most unique and the most greatest character i have ever seen and i have many reasons to prove it. Deal with it guys

It's funny because Naruto is honestly one of the most generic main characters I've ever seen. We've observed characters like him over and over again, and while Naruto's not THE worst character out there, I can definitely say he's not one of the best. Even when it comes to characters like him, Luffy is a much more likeable character.

There are so many manga characters out there it's impossible, and I dare say ignorant, to declare they're all boring, especially compared to Naruto of all characters. The Naruto who goes through a lot of melodrama in his obvious love for Sasuke and who can't come to terms with the fact that his "friend" has turned on him when even his comrades who also used to care about him (and even risked their lives for him) have decided that it's necessary to off him.

AHAHAHA My favorite main character is a man who is simply a Medicine seller (from Mononoke ):

Why? Well, first off I love his desing xd He has such a mysterious and mythical aura around him self that you can't help to wonder "Just...who the hell is he?". If you add to this the fact that he gets some development -a mysterious one too xd-, his figure gets more deep and enigmatic. You end up asking your self interesting questions
Now, his personality is very calm and analytical -which are atributes I always love to see in MC's -, but perhaps the best thing about him it's that sort of fascination he feels towards the Mononoke -I've reached this thought by his reactions when he encounters them. He seems a bit delighted but not excessively. He willingly puts him self under circumstances that forces him to watch the darkest and twisted spots of the human heart, and overcomes them serenely. Such an attitude makes me beleive he's interested -intrigued- about the human heart...and its dark spots. The fact that his sword needs the Form, Truth and Reason to be dragged, suits the Medicine seller so well xd). Not to mention he's also very cool xd

Now, on a second place Lelouch would come xd I don't really think he needs any explanation on why after what Miles said.

And the third place is occupied by Kenji (20th Century Boys manga)

He kind of follows the route of an usual hero, but the fact that his character is very realistic and deeply developed makes him one of the most interesting heroes I've seen xd

Probably has to be Akiyama I mean the guy's just a baws. Too many "lol GG" moments (a few in my sig) within the manga for me to post them all but I can settle with this pose

Probably one of the smartest characters in any manga I've read about when it comes to on panel feats of psychology. Personally I think he overwhelms even Light Yamagi w/o much difficulty but I have my other thread for that >_>

^Probably have to give props to Kenji too since he becomes a pretty big BA the more you know about him.
