Aesop Rock by far. He's probably the most intelligent rapper out there, with lyrical complexity unmatched by just about anyone.

Eyedea, Illogic, & Sage Francis are artists who can compete with Aesop lyrically, but even then that's only sometimes. They're also all favorites of mine.

A few others whom are fantastic are MC JUICE, Binary Star, K-Rino, Canibus, Blueprint (of Soul Position), Cage, Mr. Eon, Immortal Technique, Eligh, MURS, Apathy, and Mr. Lif. They're all worth checking out if your into intelligent hip hop.
