I don't understand how many of you guys can like the following:

Cersei
Roose
Tywin
The Mountain
Ramsey
I swear one person said Joffrey lmao
I *should* hate Tywin. But Charles Dance is, imo, the best actor in the show. I can't hate him.
I like Roose because his acting is also great, and on top of that he's unique amongst the Northerners. All these big honor-bound bearded bear-people guzzling ale and beer, then here's shaved, quiet, calm Roose Bolton. You can never quite read Roose Bolton.

I like Ramsay for Tywin's reason. Iwan Rheon is an astounding actor. And Ramsay routed the filthy Ironborn out of the North.

And the Mountain makes me laugh with how badass he is.
"WhoamIfighting?"
"Does it matter?"
*shakes head no*

"SWORD!"

"Did they tell you who I am?"
"Some dead man!"

I guess I should've specified, they acting quality is great and they are interesting people.
But they are terrible people within the show itself lol.
I guess I'm just used to liking the heroes and those who are just fighting for their family (Starks)

Tbh I usually find the villains way more interesting. Orochimaru being the best example here. I think what makes a great story, primarily, is the kind of conflict the protagonist faces in the form of their adversary(ies).
Tywin Lannister fights for his family too :p

That's really something I like about GoT. There are few "villains". At least to me. Joffrey, Ramsay, and others who are in it for pure sadism, they're villains. But Tywin Lannister held the realm together for 20 years as Aerys' Hand, and Aerys insulted him for it.
The Red Wedding, his sacking of King's Landing and the events of the Rains of Castamere, all very pragmatic moves. Horrible, but very pragmatic. After all, the war with the North ended with minimal casualties thanks to the RW. House Lannister rose up in power and influence thanks to the Sack of KL. and thanks to the Rains of Castamere, there is not a single house in Westeros more loyal to thwir liege lords than the Westerlands houses to the Lannisters.
His actions can be explained and justified, or someone else could call him a pure butcher blinded by power and ego.

Eh I still see Tywin as a bad man, I think he fights for family pride more than family itself.
His relationship with Tyrion is a good point of it. He wants the Lannisters to be at the top and rulers of the seven kingdoms.
The Starks are my favorite because they don't care about any of that, they just want to be together as a family, royalty and ruling over other kingdoms is not something they want. They want peace in the North where they reside.

Favourites:
Jon Snow
Arya Stark
Podrick Payne (Brienne's squire. He's a chill character imo)

Least favourites:
Cersei Lannister- Disliked her since season 1..but I still think the shame she faced in season 5 was a bit too much.

Jaqen H'ghar - If he's all that with the 'many faced god' stuff he keeps spouting, how did he get himself in a situation where he needed Arya to save him back then?
And to piss me off more, he's done something to her!!! >.<
Sansa Stark

Thought of something about Roose Bolton.
Thanks to him
--The North concluded its disastrous war with the Iron Throne with minimal casualties, as opposed to winning it through years and years of unnecessary bloodshed.
--Made peace with Tywin Lannister and the Iron Throne.
--Restored Winterfell to its former glory. afterRamsayburneditdown
--Routed the filthy Ironborn savages out of the North and back to those shit-stained rocks they call a home.
--MAJOR SPOILERS FOR S5 EP10
-Destroyed Stannis Baratheon, a man who would drag the North into the exact same war they just left, outside of Winterfell with his own forces.
What a great guy, Roose Bolton.
