who is worst sensei?

Gai's decision was him putting his faith in Lee. He knew that Lee would otherwise have no purpose.

Asuma definitely trained his pupils, and even though they considered him an "Odd teacher" he was the reason that Team 10 became known as the "Best support team in all of Konohagakure."

Kurenai, eh, I have nothing to say about her. She floated around for a while, got trolled by Itachi, had a filler arc to make her relevant, and then got pregnant thus falling into obscurity.

As far as Kakashi goes, are you kidding OP? Nevermind that he tought Chidori to Sasuke and helped Naruto develop the Rasenshuriken...Nevermind that he trained Sasuke to master Strong Fist in 6 months...Nevermind even that he's the only sensei in the series who is shown giving pupils canon training. Kakashi was chosen for the specific reason that he was the ideal sensei for Team 7.

Not only have we barely seen her train her team, but she specializes in Genjutsu. That's fairly useless considering that no-one in Team 8 is capable of using it.

Over the timeskip, we didn't really see any progress from Kiba or Shino due to training. Hinata trained with her Hyuga clansmen rather than learning anything from Kurenai.

Kurenai and Asuma hardly had choices abandoning their teams. Asuma was probably the best out of them to be honest before his death.

Guy really isn't that bad, he had absolute faith in Lee and the only reason he told Lee to do the surgery was because he knew that being a ninja was Lee's entire life and for Lee there was no other decision, Guy just understood his student and would've died with him. He made Lee his prime pupil because Lee needed the help the most, Tenten and Neji actually turn down Guy's eccentric training attitudes but Guy trained them every bit as much- he taught them to get stronger every day and I doubt they'd be as strong or good ninja as they were without Guy.

Kakashi is actually the worst sensei. He taught them basic chakra control and the meaning of teamwork, things that they should've really learnt in the academy. He was barely around half the time and was a half-assed sensei, resulting in him feeling responsible for the Team 7 breakup- he didn't balance them at all. He straight up abandoned Naruto during the chunnin exam finals. Kakashi's a cool character but a bad sensei blessed with strong pupils.

Asuma trained Ino-shika-cho, & in the war they help Alot.
Kakashi, has the strongest team actually.
Gai, has rock lee, Neji (R.I.P), Tenten(ehh) but I would say they are second strongest.
& the only reason Gai taught that tecnique to him is, mainly because rock lee can only do Taijutsu.
Nothing else.
He could've defeated Gaara.
If it wasn't for the Shikaku.
