Who is Tobi?

Tobi is neither Madara nor Obito


Tobi is just an entity created by Madara, and whose one who moves and plays such entity (the man behind the mask) is Obito.



It is similar to the Pain-Nagato relationship, in which Pain was an entity, and Nagato the one who created and controlled it.

I get your point. And I agree for the most part.

The "Tobi" identity wasn't ever used by anyone besides Obito, so distinguishing them is a bit of a bother. But yes, I agree that "Tobi" represents a set of ideals more than anything else.

That's why Obito said he was "no one" while still disguised by the mask. He didn't want a face to be associated with his actions and ideals. He didn't want IT to be associated with what Obito Uchiha wanted, but rather that it was for the benefit of humanity.

Guruguru seems to be Spiral Zetsu now. It's what Obito called him in the Japanese version.
