You really don't understand how Konan's ability works. She's all but immune to any and all elemental attacks, possibly genjutsu, and has high movement speed and near un-avoidability.

Konan's paper was strong enough to cut the steel pipe when Obito and her fought. i don't think she is weak at all. she has an immense amount of chakra to detonate billions of paper bombs and control a large portion of them whilst doing so. i don't think physical attacks work on her either as long as she has chakra to sustain her paper form. Def not the weakest

The akatsuki all have interesting and really strong powers, however zetsu is probably the weakest(if excluding black zetsu's apparent ability to not die). If not hidan is likely the weakest.

How is Zetsu the weakest? He went against Mei and a few body guards. His abilities are very impressive; wood release, sensing, shit ton of clones, spores, maytr, the ability to erase his presence and clone whomever he comes in contact with.

Now combine that, with the fact that he'd be swiping at a storm of paper that can cut and bind him. Also, he'd never hit Konan seeing how she can fly and create clones. Shikigami Dance doesn't kill him, it just renders him useless.
Konan wins without any difficulty.

hidan was fast enough to go toe to toe with kakashi ! Also tanked kakuzu attack for fun . Konan can't do nothing to hurt hidan . And she can't fly forever !

The weakest akatsuki was probably kakuzu. He was not only killed by a rasenshuriken in one shot, which is just sad, but he had little chance to win any fight without hidan to protect his mortal back. AND, being killed partly by your own partner is completely wrong.

Misconception: Paper tag explosions can't blow off limbs

Hello! Beans and cornbread here. Lately around the base I've seen the underestimation of paper bombs, with people saying that the explosions are so weak they can't even blow off limbs (this issue became hot in a Konan vs Tsunade thread). Well I'm here to correct everyone and prove that paper tag explosions are capable of destroying limbs

The stem of this misconception

The following scans are the reason most people believe paper tag explosions are weak:

There are a variety of explanations for the fact that Nagato's legs weren't blown off.

• Nagato absorbed the explosions with his Preta Path ability. His legs became burned and crippled simply because Nagato didn't notice the bombs at first and didn't react in time to activate Gakido. It was a surprise trap, after all.
• Nagato tanked it because of his Uzumaki life force and durability. Even Hanzo said "you're no ordinary kid..." and classifying the trap as a fire attack, raising doubt that they were ordinary paper bombs anyway.
• A little of both? After all, it DID affect him in the long term - he remained crippled and immobile for the rest of his life and even in death.

Then there's this other scan that people use as support.

Sakura also survived that one for a number of reasons.

• She is a very strong medic who can use Byakogou. Maybe she was using it in the poison cloud and we couldnt see it? That would be my guess.
• It wasn't point-blank. It was about a foot away, and the wooden hands provided a degree of protection.
• Even without Byakogou, Sakura is fairly durable and can withstand blunt forces by protecting herself with healing and chakra control.

Now we will look at some feats of paper tag explosions blowing off limbs.

This first one has an immediate reaction from opposition: "Well it was a zetsu arm, that has a different composition, you can't compare it to a normal limb!" I can assure you that this is nonsense. A zetsu arm is in fact tougher and made of stronger material than a normal arm. It was capable of stopping Suigetsu's sword:

A normal limb would have easily been chopped off by the sword (it's not called "Head Cleaver" for nothing). However Obito was capable of blocking it easily with his wrist, proving that Zetsu substance is even more durable than a normal limb.

Then there's the example of Hidan, who has above average durability. His body parts were torn to shreds and collapsed around him in dissaray. This is more than enough proof to prove that paper bombs can blow off limbs. And yes, he DOES have above average durability - he was able to tank this:

A single paper bomb was capable of blowing off a huge chunk of the arch and causing an avalanche of rocks to block the exits. A human limb doesn't stand a chance.

Hiruzen's paper tags were capable of blowing off Edo Hashirama's and edo Tobirama's legs. Again, there's the argument that it isn't composed of normal material. Make of that scan what you will.

Hidan literally cannot do anything to Konan. Konan can just send a storm of paper to to wrap Hidan up and then he's completely at her mercy. There is no debating this.

That is not a testament to his strength. Being forsaken by your god and "living" for the rest of eternity in a hole is not a testament of strength...

I haven't seen anything Hidan can do that can prevent hundreds if not thousands of paper shurikens harder than steel cutting him into bits while Konan flies happily above. God forbid she wants to detonate them. He isnt tanking that. With no partner to put him together he's done. She also doesn't react to injuries like a normal human while she has chakra. As the panel shows she was floating as half a paper body when fighting obito and still alive. It wasnt until she couldnt sustain the form and obito used izanagi that she was hit
