Who is the Strongest out of the three Sanin

Tsunade is the strongest. She beat Orochi who could beat the perverted hermit.

Strongest against what? They all have their strengths....

With Taijutsu it would be Jiraiya (simply because of hermit mode).
With Ninjutsu it would be Orochimaru.
With Gejutsu it would be Jiraiya.
With Medical Jutsu it would be Tsunade.

Against each other in a 1v1v1 free for all. Tsunade would go first as out of the three she is the weakest fighter. After that you would have Jiraiya vs. Orochimaru 1v1 and it would get interesting. Its hard to tell how each other's techniques would effect the other since we never saw them go all out against each other. We've seen Orochimaru's true form where hes a giant white snake made of countless other smaller snakes. So would Jiraiya's genjutsu really be effective against it? And Orochimaru has many forbidden jutsus that are extremely powerful. In the end I think I would have to go with Jiraiya, not because of fighting ability, but because of personality. Orochimaru is Jiraiya's Sasuke. He wanted to bring him back to the leaf. I think during the fight Jiraiya might be a little hesitant to go all out, and pay for it.

none of them are stronger, persay. and all of them are stronger. Tsunade is stronger than Orochimaru, Jiraiya is stronger than Tsunade, and Orochimaru is stronger than Jiraiya. That's the whole point of the three sanin. but if I had to pick one and only one, it would probably be Tsunade. simply based on what we've heard in the show and on the manga, Tsunade seems to be the strongest. Tsunade beat the crap out of Orochimaru, understandibly his arms were hurt, but then again he had already stabbed her several times, she had been hurt by Kabuto, and she used up a lot of chakra to try and recover. as for Jiraiya, he himself stated there were only two times he's ever came close to death, once fighting the Kyuubi in Naruto and once when Tsunade got pissed off at him for peeking at her. and of course you might say he was holding back because he cared for her, but I'm sure she wasn't going all out either. And keep in mind these two times he's been near death include all the fights he had been in, such as against Hanzou, and when he was implied to have fought Orochimaru when he left. but that's just my two cents. I'm sure most people won't agree because Jiraiya is the NB house favorite.

I've gotta go with Orochimaru. I wouldnt say that he's the "strongest", but he's definetly the deadliest of them all. I mean, dude could be on the verge of death, shed his own skin and be good as new. Plus he's technically still alive within Kabuto. And then he trained Sasuke to be as ruthless as he was. Oro is def the deadliest of the 3.

i think its jiraiya because he trained the Minato which became the 4th. orochimaru should have become the fourth but because minato was stronger he became the 4th hokage. also jiraiya should have been the 5th hokage but he refused. this means that the villagers believed that jiraiya is the strongest among the sannin

orrochimaru would win if it came to use and number of jutsu

tsunade would win if it came to strangth, chakra use and amount and use of medicjutsu

Jiraiya would win in Genjutsu?! LMAO Check Databook 3's stats, because his current stat of Genjutsu equals Ino's... Plus, Tsunade is better than him in Genjutsu, since she has a better chakra control... It all comes down to that, except for the bloodlines (like the Sharingan).
