Well it's not about if she'll fall for the same trick over and over, the thing about the technique is, if used strategically. Boruto could have a single clone set it up while Sakura is dealing with another Boruto, unaware. It'll hit it before she'll even realize it happened, and that's with or without prepped knowledge.

If Shinki gets more feats. All we know is that he could keep up with Metal Lee in speed, and he can mold his metal sand.

Although those examples are pretty limited since we don't know how fast Metal Lee is compared to the rest of the generation (Like how we first saw Rock Lee and he blitzed past Sharingan Sasuke), nor do we know the extent of his sand manipulation (like Gaara's for example).

I doubt he could beat Shikidai based on these things.

Dude all he has to do is float on his iron sand and have his puppet fight shikidai -./ which would negate shadow if he flys high enough ..

Also he uses his mind (like his dad) to move his sand even if caught in shadow what is stopping his sand from actually moving .... And not to mention he wears a coat of iron sand no one bar baruto has shown something that could potentially bypass the iron sand

tbh I think gaara son is the worst opponent for someone like shikidai
