Who is the strongenst Shinobi?

This entirely my opinion,I'm not saying this has to be the 'universal truth' or anything. I can be wrong, but here goes.

From what I've seen, there r 4 candidate for the post(without so6p of course,he is out of the calculation). they r Rinnegan Madara, Hashirama Senju, Minato Namikaze and hiruzen sarutobi.

If I Go by jutsus, it might be Madara or Minato, Cause Madara Is Amazingly Too much powerful, and I haven't seen any jutsu to counter FTG properly or any jutsu powerful enough to deflect a TBB like Minato's Barrier. But If I go by the statement made in the manga, it's Sarutobi !!

Let me explain. Minato lost his life against kyuubi to save naruto. Now,no matter what the circumstance is, If u r Really that strong, you should've done better. Minato also said he is giving up his life to make naruto ready for tobi or madara........or who ever it is. That can be meant as he knew he wasn't powerful enough to stop that person, so he left the task for naruto. if you wanna say otherwise, I say we have seen a few people who could have done better in that situation,like madara,possibly nagato. my main point is minato failed to stop kyuubi and save everybody at the same time, where a few others just might can despite the circumstance.

Secondly, Ems Madara lost to Hashirama senju, Who outmatched madara in every way,according to manga. Now,how powerful has Rinnegan Madara become than Ems Madara? He sure had his susano, so it is possible that Ems Madara could also use Meteor no jutsu(i dunno the name). So the only two upgrades rinne-madara has as we've seen so far are wood release and absorbing chakra or ninjutsu. IMO,this two ability doesn't make madara massively more powerful than ems madara, may be a little. That means Rinne-madara may be equal to Hashirama, or just a little bit more powerful than him, but never super stronger than Hashirama.

Now,according to manga again, Hiruzen Sarutobi was consider the strongest Hokage. That means he was more powerful that The 1st. But how much? I think he was more powerful than Hashirama than madara was,cause if he was just a little bit more powerful, nobody would bother telling he was stronger. Instead,in that case they would say they were almost equal or the same. Sarutobi must be more powerful than hashirama with a significant power difference,otherwise it wouldn't be mentioned.

In that case, Hiruzen Sarutobi becomes the strongest ninja of all !!! O.O
It's hard for me to believe that a old hag like him was the strongest at his prime, but can't deny it with this facts in my mind.

There r other candidate who has\had the caliber to become the strongest, but either they died(itachi),or they haven't become that strong yet(naruto,sasuke).

what do u think guys? Again,these r only my thoughts,share urs, and pls don't use unreasonable words or language.

lol what the hell? Why does everyone say Tsunade has the biggest raw strength, she doesn't have raw strength for crying out loud its just a technique where she focuses her chakra on her attacks! Tsunade is a medical ninja, and almost all medical ninja's specialise in high chakra control, Tsunade just had the smart idea of using this as an advantage in giving her attacks a boost in strength but her attacks are weak to begin with since she focuses on her medical jutsu's more and doesn't train to gain more strength.

People like Raikage, Killer B, Gai and Rock Le are the ones with raw strength. The best of all I would say is the current or previous Raikage in raw strength. They train to make their attacks as strong as possible and don't focus on other areas such as ninjutsu as much. The Raikage both use a much more powerful technique then Tsunade's focused chakra to make their attacks be able to cut through anything. We saw the edo Raikage cutting through dense rubber and earth with his fingers, Tsunade would never be able to break through that with her weaker punches and kicks.

Also don't count a shinobi out of being the strongest just because they died. Minato was strong but he wanted to save his only son so that he could find the answer to the prophecy and bring peace to the world. He died for a good reason which shows how intelligent he is and how far ahead he could plan, if he was in a fight that didn't involve protecting anyone he would have a very high chance of being the strongest.

Biggest raw strength is probably A the Raikage, since what makes Tsunades punches powerful is that she focuses chakra in her fists.

Speed would be Minato.

In the power of jutsus I think Hashirama or Madara would be the strongest.

In intelligence i think Kabuto or Tobi are the best.

At stamina or chakra level, Kisame or maybe even Naruto.

I don't think you can say that one Ninja is the strongest, cause it also depends on what kind of opponent their up against. You can look at the different aspect of a ninja and see who is the best at one single aspect.

You can of course also divide between who is best at long range, mid range or sort range.

I would would have to agree with Ajes on this one. Classifying one as the strongest wouldnt work and Ajes your selections for each category make sense.

I would add in Itachi for the intelligence though because of the actions he has done that affected everyone much later in story and what he prepared his life and well death for.

Yeah your probably right, and Tobi also didn't dare to make his move on Sasuke while Itachi was still alive. So Itachi would also be good in the intelligence department, but he put Shsui's mangekyo Sharingan in the crow to be used against Sasuke, not against his own resurrected being. So his plan doesn't go exacly according to the plan he made, but he still has prooven a really good foresight.

I think I would have to Say Killer Bee or Mangetsu Hozuki.

I say Killer Bee because he was able to easly defeat Sasuke with his 7 sword style, and because he is able to adapt to new styles or weapons as seen when he starts using Samehada.

The greatness of Mangetsu is evident in the fact that he is the only one ever to master all the Seven swords of the mist.

first of all there is no proove that Tobi is Madara, Tobi is alive and the true Madara was resurrected, so it is ok to assume that tobi and Madara are two different people. Secondly Tobi has prooven that he is able to devise a plan that takes a really long time to develop, and he has shown that he has a very deep knowledge about history and the ninja-world as a whole.
Minato never got to proove that his has that great an intelligence, cause he died, he showed foresight in sealing the kyuubi inside Naruto together with some of his & Kusina's chakra, but they seem more like security measures than part of grand plan.

Shikamaru has shown great skills in analysing a current situation devise a rather smart plan, but he doesn't have that much knowledge about the ninja world and history, and his father Shikaku has also prooven to be smarter t´han him. Shikamaru is great at analysing but that is only one aspect of intelligence. When Shikamaru gets older and gets more knowledge and experience, then he can definatly be one of if not the most intelligent of all, but for now I at least wouldn't put him in the group of the most intelligent ninjas.

The dumbest thing I've read today.Tsunade natural raw strength has been talk about from the moment Jiraiya and naruto went looking for her in part 1.The Chakra Enhanced Strength technique you are talking about enhances her natural strength, which is quite powerful.So yes, A is stronger than her because "A" has tail beast level chakra but saying Rock Lee and Guy are as strong as her is sheer stupidity.Tsunade is easily top 3 in natural strength.
