Genius means talented not necessarily intelligent. But one can be a genius in intellect department too. Atleast that's how manga have conveyed chars are not have to be Einstein like geniuses to be geniuses.

Sasuke created his own techniques himself, and battle analysis is not topped by anyone in the entire manga. Several characters can attest to that.

I. Sasuke is a genius, but he is in no way, shape or form is he far more intelligent than Shikamaru. Sasuke's more of an on-the-spot battle genius type whilst Shikamaru is able to think several steps ahead of his opponents and lay out complex plans and traps.

Since birth Sasue was always pinned against his brother, the true Genius of the Uchiha clan. Whilst Shikamaru was born a genius, without capitvating his abilities and intelligence through hard-work and studying. Sasuke on the other-hand studied vigorously.

Shikamaru doesn't even try but he is by far ONE of the smartest shinobi in the village, with an IQ of 200. Hell even the databooks gives Shikamaru 2.0+ points than Sasuke, and you are trying to prove something so nonexistent.

Secondly, you proved my point. Sasuke's genius comes from within his bloodline, rather than outside sources like Shikamaru who was praised on "intelligence" alone.

Lastly, no Sasuke has not created any techniques by himself besides Chidori variants, which wasn't even his technique to begin with. Never put him on the same level as Minato in terms of genius on that category, you just make yourself look more pathetic.

You know what your problem is? Poor textual comprehension. As far as text analysis goes, then pal, I would run circles around you. You and the rest of the garden variety morons here aren't even in my league. Hence, add this to your list of to-cry-over things as well. So, save it before you embarrass yourself even more:

1 - Shikamaru disagrees with you via a clear cut dialogue that has zero figurative value. He has placed Sasuke above himself in every single department. That is straight from the horse's mouth, or a monologue anyway. You, disagreeing with such a simple text shows your own perpetual stupidity to not accept what the syntax is conveying: a comparison, where one is admitting his inferiority.

2 - Shikamaru is only apt at analysis if he is given time, whereas Sasuke was five steps ahead of Deidara without any intel with his on-the-spot elaborate strategies. That would make Sasuke's working memory alone far above his. Do you know what a working memory is? Hit Google.

Shikamaru is the same guy who failed to grasp as to what Ino's father was stating in regards to Chakra frequency transmission, when he laid out the whole thing for him. I have seen Naruto do better than that. Sakura grasped the clues faster than him as well. Both manga based facts that obviously lie beyond your little fan-fictions.

3 - Your comparison with Itachi is preposterous, given that Itachi is smarter than both Sasuke and Shikamaru. Whose brain at 8 years of age was so developed, that he understood the complete political framework of Konoha and was apt to take the leader's seat. Shikamaru? Yeah, he was nowhere by then. So if Sasuke was competing with his older brother - one of the rarest prodigies - and struggled, then how does it benefit your little flimsy argument? It really doesn't. It goes to show that not only your text based analysis is poor, but so is your fiddling with analogies.

You are establishing an argument without any base whatsoever, and declaring it, somehow, corollary to an argument that wasn't even there. I thought 1Told was stupid. I mean, I gotta hand it to you, you put her to shame.

4 - Does the manga say anything about Sasuke's IQ? There you go, and yet, the same guy considers Sasuke better than him in every way, and here you are, pointlessly bickering with me in his defense, when the manga and the character himself don't agree with you. What's with this whining anyway?

5 - Let's see Minato: Created an incomplete technique in four years, learned the rest from his girlfriend, and the other from Tobirama, and only created one variant out of it. Whereas Sasuke, created his own complete technique, Kirin, created 7 plus variants out of Chidori with extremely advanced Nature and Shape Manipulation, created his own CQC style with Fuma Shurikens and Kenjutsu etc etc.
