It a master at one over mediocre at many. And the ones you mentioned above have one style but several different abilities within that style.

Technically it is, an Uchiha that can only spam Sharingan and use nothing else is by every definition one trick. All the strongest Uchiha can master use of Sharingan, ninjutsu, taijutsu and weapons. If they rely on spamming a specific eye technique they don't deserve to be called skill full.

Except he did have the talent. If it wasn't for kage bunshins Naruto wouldn't even know his chakra nature let alone FRS.

Prodigies are known as prodigies because they learn the most difficult techniques in the least amount of time, geniuses are known as geniuses because they understand the most difficult concepts in the least amount of time, Minato was both.


As a genius child prodigy, Neji taught himself advanced Hyuga techs that took Hinata years to learn


As a genius prodigy, Sasuke took a few weeks to improve Lee's taijutsu move


Naruto took a few days to improve Rasengan, one day to improve Uzumaki seal (and he's not even a genius)


If Minato had ability to improve Rasengan he would've since he learned the jutsu months before his death at the very least
