I'd say Ji sung park, he's not a legend among footballers but he gets no credit at all.

Damn, too many names to think of. Both in underrated and overrated category.

Randomly, first name that springs up in my head for 'Overrated' is Neymar.

As for underrated, well: Marco Reus, Joe Allen, Iker Munian, Riccardo Montolivo ect...; just to name a few. There are many..

How is hazard overrated?
The bloke has proved himself to be one of the best signings this summer!!

Its been what 4-5 games? If you really want to judge his performance off that than clearly he didn't show up in the bigger games VS City (Community Shield) and VS A. Madrid for UEFA Super Cup.

Overrated: Too many, but the younger ones still have time to prove themselves (Hazard/Neymar/Ganso/Oscar/etc). I'd say Inzaghi (most goals scored offside) and Beckham (Yes, I believe so marrying Posh and celebrated status is what helped him, many footballers are far superior to him and he isn't even in the top 10 of best british players)

Maradona wants said about Beckham

"He has a good long-range shot, but he's not a great player. He doesn't belong to the superior group of players. There are hundreds of Beckhams playing football all over the world.

Beckham pass and set piece is incredible, i don't see why he is overrated. Also Inzaghi overated? Sure he doesn't have good dribbling skill but his positioning, and the ability to change the outcome of the match are the things that make him a true predator.

As I said, Beckham is a good player, not great.

Inzaghi.

Johan Cruyff once said,

“He is a great goalscorer. But a poor footballer.”

SAF said,

"That lad must have been born offside.”

In his 21 season he scored about 200 goals were majority of them came from offside. I disagree with the fact that he can change the game.

Beckham? He's not overrated but overfamed.

I'd say he's a great player but who could have reach much greater summits as a footballer.

I blame it on his celeb status which took a lot of him and added more pressure on him. Furthermore, he didn't age well.

His speed decreased heavily post-28 or so. And that was too early. he can't be a game-changer with slow pace. Especially if he's marked more tightly.

Still, his long-range passing is among the best I've seen. If not the best...If one of the promising playmakers of current generations had this type of long-range passing skills and set-piece talents - well, that player could have heavily challenged Messi/CR7 for the title of Best Player.

Overall, he's a great player in regard to his skills & accomplishments but he's not overrated (overfamed, yes but not in footballing aspect. Just in mediatic aspect) and neither underrated (as he could have achieved much more).

Inzaghi's career is always gonna put a smile on my face. Especially SAF's comment. xd That apart, goals matters and thereby, Inzaghi matters.
