I was think this exact thing. It makes no sense for a zetsu to be able to use the pinnacle of mukoton, that Madara couldn't even do. We've already seen Spiral can amplify abilities and Yamato amplifies zetsu's power. Also previous chapter zetsu said the "insides" were good, and I think the insides he was talking about were Yamato.

Who said madara couldn't do the giant Buddha statue he made the wood dragon I'm sure he can make the Buddha. But I def think it's just spiral zetsu from the way he talked about shit. But I'm likening this he's pretty beastly right now.

The statue is on a complete different level than the dragon. Hashirama himself has to go sage mode to do it. So until Madara shows he can do it, I will say he can't.

There's no denying it's Spiral Zetsu, but that doesn't mean yamato's body isn't inside.
