This guy clearly has Byakugan, he is using 8 trigrams jutsu.
Hidan says they are hired to prove that there is no hope in this "CURSED" shinobi world... who is cursed shinobis in Naruto with Byakugan? Ya hyuga branch family members... in next episode we can see that Naruro and Neji are gng to fight The masked man....

What do u think who is he?
In my Opinion he is Most Likly Hizashi Hyuga or other Branch Family Member.

Japaneese audience enjoy Naruto fillers while the western audience despise it. Me personally enjoy this filler for the simpile reason that my favorite Hyuga gets a spotlight

I just wish there was more action. Or that they weren't facing akatsuki in every filler. Or that the genin look completely useless this filler. Plus jaraiya has shown up for like 10 seconds. I thought this would be about jaraiya and not his book

Meh there was some action although the animation wasn't that good, and yeah they have to do dirty trick using the akatsuki to "make us" watch fillers I understand however this filler still has potential in terms of the plot.

the Masked Man as having the same voice actor though.

Kazuaki Ito voice acts Hizashi in every episode he's in (including Naruto SD: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals).

His voice might sound deeper because of the mask, just like Obito's voice actor was Madara's until his mask broke.

Though if it isn't him, it would still be different seeing a hyuga being the main opponent. Probably the most interesting thing in this arc.
