In my opinion, borrowed power statements are used by desperate fanboys who deep down admit that naruto is stronger than their favorites, but they don't want to admit it. So they use other means to downplay naruto's power, to make their favorite character looks better in comparison.

Well according to the poll Naruto is the main character and Obiwan Kenobi is a secondary.
Thanks for your input, I was confused about the manga since Sasuke seems more powerful but I guess that's so Naruto has someone better than him to fight against.
