Of course Kishi was inspired by Akira, but Naruto is 97% different than DBZ. DBZ has crappy plot and even crappier character development. Think of Kishi as the student and Akira as the master and we all know that students always surpasses their master. You must be a little kid or just a die-hard DBZ fan if you can't see that Kishi>Akira.

I have never read so much rubbish. Sometimes Students don't surpass there master and no one has surpassed Akira. He's Legendary and even someone like Kishi stated he was like a god to him. No one can touch Akira and you must be dumb if you think Kishi>Akira Kid.

oda stays consistent has amazing arcs in his story but some arcs get pretty boring his weakness is that he drags out scenes to long, and without fighting in one piece he would be pretty boring
kishi as well has great story arcs but his weakness is his consistency well we could say thats his weakness since part 2 other things like flashback, and also he neglects character development but one thing kishi doesn't do is makes his fans bored he always keeps his fans guessing even if they don't like the results
kubo can't really say anything about him in the beginning of bleach it had me hooked but now i dropped it like on chapter 200 someting but i will read it again so i will have an opinion

Yes its One Piece, I know what you are saying it took a little while to get hooked but believe me its worth it the wait.
