What people forget is that Obito was the one who ruined Naruto's life, so basically Minato sealed the 9 tails into Naruto to stop a enemy that he is partly responsible for creating.

Obito turned out the way he did because Minato wasn't there when his students needed him the most.

Minato cared about his son and his students, but that doesn't change that he let them down.

There's been tons of people who've done injustice to Naruto. Also, Minato was with them on a mission while he was called to the front lines, so they had to finish it themselves. It's not like he intentionally left them behind.
