Who is the best Villain in Naruto?

Figured I would make this thread before I leave for class. When it comes to villains I think Madara has been the best by far. His actions have influenced and provoked many of the terrible/horrible events in the entire series. Not to mention he is cruel, cold, calculated, intelligent, and pure badass. The dude soloed the shinobi alliance, the 5 Kage, Hashirama, Minato, Kakashi, Sasuke, Naruto, Gai(Gai had the upper hand only because Madara wasn't going full power), and the 9 tailed beasts. Now I would like to hear who you guys think is the best villain in Naruto.

There are no villains in this series, they all believe in something and what they are doing seems right to them

You can argue Naruto is a villain because he is fighting to protect the shinobi system, which has brought tons of pain and hatred to a lot of individuals

his selfishness is beyond limits and he isn't motivated by a higher purpose.

Orochimaru imo.
Madara never came close to deliver the same dangerous aura and never will. Even his personality is lacking for a true villain compared to Oro.
If there's an embodiment of evil in this manga, its Oro.
Madara is simply a factory of power ups who gets toned down for the plot to proceed, whatever he does i don't get that dangerous aura from him. Oro's evil actions are way more interesting compared to Madara who looks like a bitter, traumatized fool.

Madara is the most complex. Part 1 Oro was the best-written. Obito had a great arc, but there were too many low points and too much lazy writing.

He was the one who had done the most damages. Akatsuki was never Madara's idea. Obito did many things on his own without Madara actually told him what the right things to do.

Don't forget that he also had trolled Madara.

I don't really see Madara as a villain he has the same goal the first had but hes going at it differently.
Hes more of a malcom X to the loved Dr.Martin Luther King.


Oro to me is the actual villain still plotting behind the scenes.
His goal is pure selfishness at least Madara has some twisted view of the world Peace.
