Who is stronger

who do u think is stronger jiraya or Naruto

and before u say naruto because he beat pain and jiraya couldnt read this

1-Jiraya knew nothing about peins powers while naruto knew all 6 bodies and their powers
2-Jiraya beat 3 bodies of pain and he didnt know there was a 4th,5th and 6th so he got ambushed
3Jiraya had to waste a lot of chakra before he could understand the bodies powers(like he did odomo rasengan for nothing the big one absorbed it)
4-Naruto did lose to pain he got stabed in the arms and pain could have beaten him but he didnt because naruto was a junchuriki
5-Naruto got saved by hinata jiraya didnt have anyone to help
6-Naruto came prapered(in sage mode with gamabunto, gamaken ect)But jiraya wasted a lot of time to enter the sage mode

Here is the Powers they posses in comperison
1-Jiraya and naruto can both summon frogs
2-Naaruto mastered the same mode but eventhough jiraya couldnt he can fuse with pa and ma frog so they are equal there
3-naruto has wind and wind rasenshurikwn while jiraya has fire element and jutsu so they are even
4-Jiraya has spikey hair naruto has shadow clones
5-Naruto has the kyubi that he cant control and Jiraya has his wisdom, ex and earth element

So they seem pretty even but I think Jiraya would have won this one

That's true but Jiraiya's version doesn't seem to suffer from a time limit like Naruto does. With Pa and Ma helping him, he can maintain it indefinitely as far as I can tell. It's really 3 heads against 1. Naruto won't have the benefit of the 2 elders. All with vastly more experience then Naruto. As the OP stated, Jiraiya was put in a very tough situation so you can't judge the outcome of their fights with Pain. Naruto may be slightly faster, stronger and durable considering his better control of Sage mode but his trump card in Rasenshuriken is not insanely fast for Sage Jiraiya to dodge. I don't think that Naruto would be able to contend with a strong genjutsu like the Frog song and Sage Jiraiya just has a far wider range of different elemental jutsu to contend with.

If it's KSM Naruto then he will win

I think when you factor in the fact that naruto most likely has superior chakra reserves (able to pull off massive moves repeatedly) and probably better general stamina, he is likely to win in a drawn-out standup fight. However, if Jir catches Naruto in a powerful genjutsu or uses sealing techniques (both of which naruto has little to no proficiency with), naruto will likely lose. Also, both Jir and Kakashi have implied that Naruto has surpassed them all.

JIRAIYA! I don't know exactly but I always think jiraiya would defeat naruto in a 1 on 1 battle, not with ease mind you. I always considered apprentice being weaker and always weaker than the sensei. Jiraiya is just much better than naruto in my opinion.

You've got to be kidding me. Not only would the fight be extremely difficult for both Naruto and Jiraiya student master relationship they have too many reasons not to fight each other duh!

It's different for Naruto than it was for Nagato cause Nagato was heading down the path of destruction where as Naruto works towards peace.therfore Jiraiya would have a hard time fighting him in a no holds bar match.

Same for Naruto, he wouldn't be able to fight all out against Jiraiya because of his close connection, so this freaking pole doesn't sit well with me it's not practical to even consider.


With that said if neither of them new one another and they have thier current skill sets, than Naruto would win as his sage mode is stronger and so are his jutsu, well most of them. But it would by no means be a land slide, Jiraiya is the most powerful Sennin and has a rediculous amount of experience and chakra to boot. :naruto:

They know each other really wel though im not sure how much naruto knows about all jiriaya techiques. hmmmm

Naruto would win if he usesa lot of the kyubis chakra and he transforms or if naruto uses kyubi and sage mode.

If its a serious match between them and its to the death hmmmm. Its hard to say but I would overal say Naruto would win but not easily by any means.
