It isnt necessarily an assumption. Its a fact,in some ways. Darui has no sensory skills.So how will he find out where Zabuza is?

We don't know how keen Darui's senses are but if we look at this from a feats perspective, I guess I stand corrected.

In Part 1 Kakashi managed to overcome the mists effects only after allowing himself to be cut so that the dogs could track the scent of his blood.
So,
1)Kakashi is an elite jounin. It worked on him, I dont see why it wont work on Darui. If I am not mistaken Darui < Kakashi.
2)Silent Killing can and will kill Darui. Unless you can prove otherwise.

Well no but Kakashi chose to use his ninja dogs due to the particular situation at hand. He had to protect Tazuna and Sakura from Zabuza so summoning the dogs would make the best strategy since if Kakashi himself goes after Zabuza, it would give Zabuza an opening. I may have to reread/rewatch that fight though, I admit I might be wrong here. During their first fight, Zabuza's hidden mist didn't make Kakashi useless, it only made Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura feel weak and pathetic since they were genin level back than. IIRC, Kakashi also has a keen sense of smell without his ninja hounds too so I don't think he needs them to beat Zabuza. In a 1 VS 1 scenario, he could go underground to escape the mist so Zabuza can't hit him.

Anyway I think Darui>part 1 Kakashi.

So why the hell couldnt Kakashi do all this when he fought Zabuza?? He had to summon a ninja dog. Darui cannot summon ninja dogs.

Darui is trapped in thick mist, with no idea where the next attack will come from. Attacks by an attacker who can use water clones and is a master of silent killing. It is a sorry situation for Darui.
So he cant See, Hear, Feel, Taste , Smell. Complete Impairment upto a certain range actually.

Although keep in mind that even in a foggy situation, you can still see what is immediately in front of you so Darui may still be able to react and counter if Zabuza chooses to charge him from the front. Although with water clones and other diversions chances of Darui do seem pretty low.

Make it low-mid. Zabuza shouldnt be messed with.

You have a point though, it shouldnt be low difficulty because of the Raiton advantage.

I doubt the light would actually be effective, Zabuza always tries to move behind the target, so where ever Darui is looking, more than likely Zabuza's not in that direction

His techniques aren't weak? Dude, he has mist+silent killing and that was even feared against the 10000 ninja during war, Water Clone and Water Prison, very useful and tactical techs even used by the great Kisame, and Water Dragon and Giant Vortex Jutsu, both large scale techniques used by Kabuto......

Maybe to fodders his techniques are strong.. But to ninjas from Akatsuki or Madara, Naruto, Sasuke he can't do anything.. And about the water Dragon, his hand sealing is quite slow. Kisame can do technique like that with a few or one hand seal..
