who is stronger than jiraiya?

From what we ve seen so far,,itachi was not ready to have any blood on his hands again and moreover itachi still had only but one goal...."protect konoha" if not someone like kisame would never backdown without a fight and only itachi could have killed him brutally,,how much more he and kisame...pls SM naruto is already waay stronger than jiraiya,,ow much more naruto in his current state,,,sasuke kills him,,no doubt,,and a whole lot of talented shinobis...

I think Itachi could have beaten Jiraiya. Itachi didn't want to get into a fight with him. If you consider that Itachi beat Orochimaru and Kisame destroyed Bee and then let him win, there is no way that Itachi and Kisame together would lose to Jiraiya.

It was plot Jutsu as to why they didnt fight Jiraiya... If you seriously look at Kisame and Itachi feats they counter and own everything Jiraiya has

there is only base minato... never seen him do anything other than base... and even at that he had entire army's put it in their strategies to run away if u saw him... he takes out jiraiya with a lil too much ease.... jiraiya would have to start out in sage mode to stand more than one hit....and even then he still loses...

minato isnt just base anymore... and he trained him...im sure he would have contingency measures for FTG...

It's not like Itachi admitted that Jiraiya was stronger than them. It was obvious that Itachi didn't want to fight against Konoha's defender. Btw, he was exhausted from Tsukuyomi affect. Though, Itachi could beat him, imo.
