Madara easily trumps Itachi in raw power, physicals, chakra potency, versatility (All five elements + Susanoo + Limbo + Mokuton + Rinnegan tech), probably roughly equal in talent and intelligence (hokage wisdom scan coming). Itachi does have Yata and Totsuka but there's nothing preventing Madara from popping up four limbos to break Itachi's ass.

Edo madara, rinnegan madara, and juubi jinchuuriki madara basically neg Itachi. But I'm not convinced that EMS Madara is beating Edo itachi or Alive Itachi with no illness. I personally don't see it.

Time is different but if itachi grow up same as madara - he probably be less wiser but stronger. If madara grew up with itachi then he is prbobly weaker. I believe there will never fight because itachi is very wise so he will know madara is powerful so then he will flee maybe study him before fight.. his Susanoo sword touch could lock anyone charka like he did to oro right? if yes the he have a chance of beating madara.

lol itachi never tried to take on obito thinking he was madara.... EMS and above win easy for madara... in MS battle though, itachi beats him and that itachi beats anyone bar obito with MS may be coz kamui is hax...

That's just it. Without intel i can't imagine madara (someone who usually toys with his foes and half ass in battle) actually go hard on itachi w/ precautions and perfect susanoo before getting solo'ed by totsuka or tsukuyomi. Think of all the times ems edo madara (or alive one for that matter) let himself get hit on purpose or was flanked by someone even such as tsunade(gokages). Imagine had it been itachi (someone who doesn't drag on fights against potential threats ie: orochi and nagato). It's GG imo
