1. Jiraiya fought them with zero knowledge, while Naruto had ma/pa/Katsyuu with him, which all had some knowledge
2. Naruto had to enter Sage Mode 3 times to be able to take out the 5 paths, Jiraiya took out three, and then gut jumped by Asura
3. Deva Path wasn't able to use his techniques until after 4 of the 6 paths had been beaten, and after he got his power back, it took him around 1 minute to overwhelm Naruto
4. Naruto's SM wasn't even enough, he needed help from the Kyuubi to beat them.

OT: I think Naruto's SM is stronger, it was stated by Pa that Jiraiya never even mastered SM, + Naruto can enter it in around 5 seconds now that he's perfected it

Thats my point. Nagato had seen Sage Mode before so he had some intel as well. When he fought Jiraya he didn't have any intel on Sage Mode or its abilities.

Naruto's sage mode is significantly stronger, especially now that he can enter it immediately and hold it for longer +can probably merge with the toads as the kyuubi is friends with naruto now. also, naruto has frog taka and more improved sensing than jiraiya.

that said, jiraiya's abilities in base far exceed naruto's, and as such jiraiya in sm> naruto in sm imo. at least when they fought pain. now naruto's sm is much much stronger so he can beat jiraiya even with a much inferior arsenal
