I feel like mokujin is stronger but then again Gamabunta is the king of toads and hold his ground against Shukaku and did a significant contribution to suppress kyubi .
and since he can throw oil from his mouth, which combined with fire can easily burn mokujin which is made up of wood. so May be he has a shot on mokujin

mokujin is made up of wood so He can cut off mokujin with his giant sword . and Since Mokujin don't have any explosive or ninja techs so the battle is all about who is more skilled in sword fighting.

The knife would get stuck if Gambunta attempts to pierce it and because its thick it wouldn't be able to fully cut through.
Have you tried cutting a thick piece of wood/branch with a knife? its not easy.

Well boss toads can jump to heights even higher than the juubi and if they land on something after falling from that height they would flatten it with their body mass

Plus he can spit large amounts of oil, which would make the wood slippery and make it difficult to grip the ground or catch the sword

But mokujin can move by itself so it becomes a hashirama controlling mokujin vs minato/jiraiya/naruto summoning gambunta thread
