Who is smarter?

I'm only talking about tactical battle here. Who do you think is smarter in battle between Itachi and Sasuke?:shrug:

Sasuke used to fight with strategy...for example his battle with Deidara he planned it so well. But since he obtained Amaterasu and Susano'o he just kept spamming them till he went nearly blind. So my opinion is that in terms of wits Itachi wins

It's like in the first few hours of playing an RPG. You start out weak and so you need strategy. Once you become so strong you can burp and kill 3 people you just want to have fun with what you've got.

I would say Itachi....His first fight he revearses a genjutsu. Has the whole shadowclone psych out with Kakashi. Uses weapons to distract from hand seals. And during the battle with Sasuke he was fighting to slowly lose...to have to fight with almost everything you have, make it entirely convincing, and to still lose isn't exaclty an easy thing to do. If you don't tactically plan out how you intend to fight then you end up losing with your opponent knowing.

Sasuke had great tactics in his fights especially against Itachi, but Itachi's tactical skills in addition to his careful planning tops him.

I'll go with Itachi just because he is a more patient fighter...Sasuke intelligence clearly is getting under rated because of his aggressive fighting style...Just look at the strategy Sasuke had employed when he fought Itachi, Deidara, and Danzo
