Who is smarter? Sasuke or Shikamaru?

Sasuke is smarter imo.Shikamaru needs time before making a stratergy whereas sasuke plans are instant which he has displayed in his battles against deidara,danzo,itachi etc

..... so because you plan twenty moves ahead that makes you stupider. Wtf kind of logic is that? I don't care if you have a hard on for the uchiha clan, kishi has stated that shikamaru is smarter. I can't believe the fanboys on here.

Shikamaru. Anyone who says Sasuke is a die hard fanboy. Shikamaru could beat sasuke in anything (strategy, shogi etc.), but if it is a one-on-one battle Sasuke will win. Shikamaru is smart, but sasuke is way stronger. If Shikamaru had some skilled ninja with him he could have made a strategy to beat Sasuke.

That is power and abilities. :flaw: Imagine this (evethough it is unlikely): Shikamaru is a general with one army and Sasuke is another general with an army, both these armies are equals (zetsu clones). Who will win, Shikamaru and Sasuke cannot participate in this war, they are only making strategies and cannot fight. Who will make the best strategies? The guy with 210 IQ or the guy with some of the strongest sharingans in history (wich are useless when he is making strategies)?
