Who is smarter Naruto or Sasuke?

As far as intelligence goes they are both smart. They probably have the same IQ or naruto might even be smarter (though he doesn't often show it)

But when it comes to Emotional IQ and actual applied everyday smarts Sasuke blows him out of the water. Sasuke will always seem smarter than Naruto because he doesn't allow emotions to cloud his thought process as badly as naruto does in most cases. Even when enraged and angry he makes calculated decisions

Sasuke is a lot better at analyzing the fight and figuring his opponent out, he's supposed to be the cool headed bada**, naruto on the other hand is the number one hyperactive knuckleheaded ninja! He's the hot head who rushes into battle without a momens notice, but his in battle instincts are pretty legendary

Matching chakra ratios is something Naruto and Sasuke have been doing repeatedly, since they were kids. And Naruto deserves exactly the same amount of credit for that feat since it's a shared feat. Although that technique had literally 0 effect anyway, since ninjutsu doesn't hurt Juubito.

Susano Kyuubi was legit and Sasuke deserves credit, however it is a technique that Madara invented in the first place.

And like I stated before, Naruto is superior in knowledge and practice of senjutsu chakra. The Juugo point isn't really a beneficial point to bring up since Sasuke is still a relative beginner at Senjutsu compared to the likes of Naruto, Juubito, Hashirama, and Rikudou Madara. Sasuke is probably closer to Minato's level of Senjutsu. Or Jiraiya's level, since he needs a partner (Juugo; elder sage toads) to use it.
Naruto figured out the fact that Juubi-jin forms are weak to senjutsu/natural energy.

I'm not saying that Naruto is smarter, but for Sasuke's intelligence, he has been performing slightly under expectations during the first part of this war. Although I believe Sasuke's comeback to this fight will be just as epic as Naruto's.

Even war arc naruto dosent have the analytical abilities of sasuke. That's not based on being goofy or funny,its based on him being less inteligent than sasuke.

Sasuke has always been smarter than naruto,that's what balances them out as rivals. Naruto has the raw power of the kyubi and sasuke has the sharringan which provide certain insight on the situation. Giving sasuke more to calculate with and thus use to accuatly plan his next move.

I'm not saying naruto is dumb,but he isn't on sasuke's level when it comes to inteligence

in this instance, sasuke manipulated itachi. Itachi isn't omnipotent, he had no way to know sasuke had kirin. So sasuke manipulated that part. Itachi had no killing intent, but he was still trying to push sasuke to go all out. the point of showing this is to showcase is battle intelligence.

According to kishi, sasuke is pure, that is why he is easily manipulated.
