[Theory] Who is Silver?

We all know there is a connection between Gray and Silver. And the most of you guys just call him a relative, either from his family or from Ul's side. I dont believe in those options though.
So, third option: Silver = Gray

I say Silver is Gray from the future, either from Rogue's or Lucy's futureline (maybe another future timeline). In today's chapter we also learned that Silver already knew who Natsu was before they met eachother when Natsu rushed in the Tartaros HQ. As he recalls 'it had to be you, Natsu'

I might hear you thinking, he didn't come through it during the Grand Magic games. No, he didnt. And he looks way older than Future Lucy and Future Rogue did. Also correct. So it's safe to asume that he came even before that already to this present. Possibly before the timeskip. And he looks older, becausse he's been aging on the present timeline for a couple of years now.

So that's all there is to it. Silver is just future Gray, turned evil. We don't know why yet, but we might still learn that and also how he came through the gate unnoticed.

Its was quite obvious who silver was from the get go. Relative? No gray learned ice from ur after she found him. Its future gray and the demon chick toturing erza is future juvia.

its clearly future grey.. its quite obvious even when natsu said he has the same scent.. a relative that hasnt had a connection to grey in years wouldnt have his scent to such a degree..

and the way silver is acting around natsu makes me think its future grey even more..

Yeah it's most likely Gray...and to be honest I get a feeling a lot more future characters will appear I mean present Gray isn't top tier level so can you imagine what future Natsu, Laxus or Erza would be like?

I've read that i surely couldn't be Gray because Silver doesn't take off his clothes. But if that had happened i'd be pretty obvious.

Nah I'm not going for the Silver = future Gray. I never liked time travel stuff and I certainly wasn't very keen on the whole time travel business during the GMG arc as it still doesn't really make much sense. In the end though Hiro implied that in fact all the time travel was part of a larger linear line, meaning that any messing with the flow of time was already in calculated. He did this with Zirconis who originally introduced himself as the Jade Dragon when Wendy resurrected his spirit while he only picked up the title for the first time just before he was sent back to the past. This was later partially implied again when Atlas Flame said 400 years or something had been passed since they first met.

Having yet another time traveller to the mix, now that would just be a pain, especially because Silver should have been almost half his life living in the past, with other words he lived a long time simultaneously with his own past self, which he apparently loathes? Then you also have the mysterious grave. You would think that someone who went that far in the past, way before whatever changed him happened, would try to change whatever would come to pass. Well it's possible he is actually doing that, but then why the self hate for his past self?

It's just too confusing. I mean something happens in the future that made him hate himself, goes back to the past to...hate himself some more? Also wouldn't future Gray have known about Atlas Flame? Still he thought he was a demon and Silver was quite late with the Natsu comment. Overall his actions don't really mix with how you would expect a future Gray would act, even if he turned evil.

well after seeing that minerva and jackal were all made in a tube using a human form as a catalyst for the demon it is safe to say its not gray and possibly grays brother or father. far fetched idea would be ur's husband or lover. but the fact still remains that they have been shown to be made with a human body.

One of the demon mentions him liking his human form over his demon form.
Since they were going to do the same to Mira.
I mean who else hates natsu and uses ice techs? Plus Natsu recognized his scent.

For the 1st time I agree with you Cali, Silve is not Gray, but rather he might be a relative to Gray.. Like you are Silver's Brother or son.... but same scent I guess ice users of same blood have similar scent

Silver is Ice Devil slayer, Gray probaly will find some kind of book that has the Ice God slayer abilities, or he will not be able to beat Silver, if so, Mashina is not balancing well power...

Ice from the Sun Village was made by Silver (demon). Demons uses Curse, and Gray's body was able to adapt to that same ice (something normal humans can't do). Why Gray's body was able to adapt? Because Gray is half demon (Silver is his father). It also would help in his character development and keeping with Natsu.
