Who is overall stronger, Neji or Zabuza?

Personally, I believe Zabuza is slightly stronger than Neji.

Neji can definitely beat him 1 v 1, I won't deny that; however, going along overall abilities, I have to give it to Zabuza.

Zabuza has Water Clone feints, Water Prison, and large scale Suiton (WD and GVJ). Also, he has Hidden Mist along with his unrivaled Silent Killing. Not only that, but he has on par CQC as Neji. He uses the giant Kubikiribocho to enhance his CQC and the sword also has the ability to heal itself.

According to the data books, Zabuza has superior Ninjutsu, Strength, Stamina, Genjutsu (capable of even countering the powerful, famous Sharingan), and Hand seals. He is tied with Intelligence, both having 3/5; however, due to Zabuza's far more experience than Neji, his intelligence and ability to analyze an opponents moves is slightly greater. He is tied with Neji in Taijutsu so no significant gap there.


Neji has his Byakugon, 64 Palms, Rotation, and Vacuum Palm (just thrusts the enemy backwards, no apparent damage.) Though powerful, I just don't believe he is as versatile as Zabuza and doesn't have anything above him except speed.


I mean Zabuza's hype backs up his abilities as well. He was a Legendary Swordsmen, noted to be in the best generation. A former Anbu, and led the Hidden Mist's Assassination Unit. He murdered over 100 Genin as a mere child even before he was in the academy. He attempted to assassinate the Mizukage Yagura who was actually controlled by Obito and still survived. He was feared throughout the whole ninja world as The Demon of the Hidden Mist. His abilities were so remarkable that he was recognized by Kabuto and Kabuto sacrificed other edos to keep Zabuza from getting sealed to keep his jutsu going.

With all that being said, I'm sorry if I let my fanboy take over me, but I just can't see Neji stronger than Zabuza even though he can beat him.


In closure, Zabuza is slightly stronger than Neji IMO

Your comment is invalid. Ao wields a Byakugan, he said he saw through the (Sharingan) Genjutsu placed on the Third Mizukage.

With his Byakugan he could see Shisui's components and, knowing Shisui to be rizzle good with genjutsu, figured things out. See Hinata's encounter with Tobi for a clearer example of how Byakugan-users identify genjutsu. She looked for someone performing a genjutsu, not some sort of chakra differentiation on herself or her teammates.

I'm pretty sure that it was already said that the three dojutsus can see through all forms of nin, tai and genjutsu...

neji is faster, way smarter and is too versatile and can kill zabuza in one hit and has reflexes on par with sage mode and zabuza hiddn mist wont work here byakugan sees through that and kakashi easily countered it against edo zabuza...neji was a natural genius even kakashi during the chunin exams after seeing neji fight he said I didn't knw such a guy existed and tha sasuke kun had no chance and neji even lost in the final rounds to naruto but was still promoted to jonin he skipped chunin and went straight to jonin because of how much skilled he was over everyone else, neji learned the clans jutsu just by watching others do it, even hiashi was amazed that neji could d that and neji has feats against the juubi like using his rotation to block one of its tails...zabuza cant do that

Neji had 3.5 at tai and 3 at speed while Lee had 3.5 at tai and 4 at speed yet Neji beat him every single time. He masters an actual style, and the mastered styled makes power of a fighter differing. Neji could beat a taijutsu master who is faster on foot yet he is the same level with the guy with generic taijutsu? Jyuuken>Gouken>>>>Generic stuff.

Zabuza has clones, water etc. Neji has his Own various abilities too that would make him look powerful as well. And the people count they beat is around the same level.
