Who is older naruto or sasuke

hey we all know naruto failed his exam like 3times,n we know dat sasuke was born like 1 day before naruto(according to naruto's mum<3).so how come sasuke is still in d same class with naruto,shouldn't he be ahead of naruto

sasuke is older since itachi was seen holding sasuke when he was a baby on the night the ninetails attacked, which was the same day naruto was born.

The OP said right in his/her post that "we know Sasuke is 1 day older", and yet you all come in and simply reply "Sasuke is older". That wasn't the real question.

Now, on-topic: I never really thought about this before, but you're right, that does seem odd. Then again, maybe ninja school doesn't really work the same way as regular school.

me and my bro used to wonder about tht too.. maybe Hiruzen put him in like when he was 6 because he thought Naruto would be ready cos he's minato's son :shrug:

ya but we know dat they do repeat & if u fail too much u drop out,&even if he did enter before sasuke(which i doubt coz they didn't really like him,except for ppl who knew d truth about him) we all know dat sasuke was always trying to get his dad's attention, so he should have entered as
early as possible to be able to achieve more than itachi

ibasically if i understand correctly, naruto got into the academy at a young age because there really wasnt much else the 3rd could with him. he probably did it (knowing Naruto's parents and knowing their wishes) but truth is, like his mom he was a late bloomer. he is sasuke's age, but sasuke is older by like a month or two. Naruto and Hinata i know positively are the youngest in the 11. Sasuke of course still had his parents when he entered the academy so he entered on time around like 5 or 6 (from what i can tell, Kishi seems to have the ninjas on like a real school kinda timeline, just my opinion tho)
