who is Naruto's best supportive character...?

For me its shikamaru. Shikamarus always there to give him advice and I believe they compliment each other well in a battle. xd

Shikamaru ! In the Naruto Shippuden 169 Shikaku asks why did Shikamaru came back so late and he answered that he was talking to Naruto since he's moral was low and then he says " Thus guy, has something other people don't... One day, he will become an important ninja for the village... When I am with Naruto, I just want to walk along his sides..." And then Shikaku says that it is rare to Shikamaru to worship someone !

That's a true supportive character !

Shikamaru has definitely been there for Naruto a huge amount as he's begun to mature even though he may not like to admit it but I think this seriously goes to Iruka.

Out of an entire village who fear one kid, its an orphaned teacher who was the first to accept him and although he may not show up as often anymore- he's been there for Naruto the entire way.

Jiraiya if he was still alive, Jiraiya loved Naruto like a son, and Naruto though of him like a father.... and they both masters of Toads and such, and they fight epicly and both strong and capable of supporting each other while "having fun" annoying eachother in funny ways and Jiraiya being his sensei they know a lot about each other.
