When I was a kid, I was always at church. That was what my grandma wanted me to do. She is a die hard Mormon [don't even start with the jokes], and I always went with her because of the bread, water, and singing. I actually had no idea what going to church was supposed to mean. But I do remember all the people there only being "clicky" with other Mormons. They never did like my Dad when he came, as he was Catholic, and really ignored him. My Mom and Grandma were the only ones to talk to him there, which is sad because my Dad is a really cool guy.
Anyways. During my years on this site, I noticed Atheists [Sorry if this is a bad term. I know there is something else that most like to be called but cannot think of it.]are usually more accepting of your religion. Every time I talk to someone who doesn't believe in God, about God, they don't try to force me to turn Atheist but they do tell me what they believe and we usually have a cool discussion. Of course, there are always some that try to belittle me due to believing in God, but most don't.
On the other hand, when I talk to other religious members of this site, they try to point out how wrong I am about religion, and about how they are superior, etc. Still, this does not apply to all religious members, so please do not feel offended. This is only a select few.
I was just wondering if you agree with my observation, and please keep this thread clean of any hate. I want a nice, easy going discussion.
Thanks! :bye:
