Who is more of the main villain, Obito or Madara?

Obito is the main villain by far. He's been in the show more, and he's responsible for more acts and manipulating more people.

He caused the Kyuubi attack, killed Kushina in it and indirectly caused the death of Minato.
Helped Itachi kill the Uchiha clan.
Controlled the Mizukage and, if anything, sat by and let the Bloody Mist flourish.
Plotted the death of his partner, Deidara. Or outright hoped for it. . Would be better.
Expected the death of Itachi, and saught to use Sasuke as a pawn.
Is responsible for the whole war.
Manipulated Nagato into perverting the Akatsuki.


Madara can only really say that he corrupted Obito. And 'manipulated' Obito. But. . I don't see it as Manipulation (Just yet aleast, I'm sure we'll see more of their past soon) as Obito desperatly wants to finish the Infinate Tysukuyomi too.

Obito of course. It was he who helped with the slaughtering of the Uchiha Clan - he was the cause to all the pain that Sasuke went through. He was the one who attacked Konoha with the Kyuubi - he caused all the sufferring for Naruto. Saying Madara is the villain because he planned all this isn't relavent - it was Obito who did all this.

Obito, because he has been evil for about 400 chapters, but madara has only showed up recently, and is now claiming to be the main bad guy.

I'm not sure. Obito definitely has had time to make the plan work out his way and already, he has shown that Madara's plan is solely dependent on Obito's cooperation. I'd say that while Madara created the plan, Obito was the one who made it a reality.

Well Obito has madara under his control due to the fact that he is the only one with the rinnegan and madara wants to become the ten tails jinchuuriki which he can only do when he;s alive
