A girl Eren saved when he was younger. Mikasa was kidnapped by guys in the people exchange business, and Eren went to where she was and killed 2/3 of the guys and Mikasa killed the last guy when he was about to strangle Eren to death. Mikasa was taken in by Eren's parents, because both of her parents were murdered by her kidnappers.

She's supposed to be an adopted Sister. However, considering that she has her last name of Ackerman than Jeager...it seems she may have never been truly adopted.

I still like to think they are sister and brother...which is why I find it really awkward when they try to create moments where people think they date/Mikasa loves him.

Mikasa is special , I think she superhuman strong for a reason ... Any way Erin kinda saved her ... And she sees eren as a brother , a lil brother and always wants to protect him.
