Who is Madara Uchiha?

I know that he is who helped Itachi to kill the clan and he and his brother where the first to have the mangenkyou but,it seems that he is other persons too. What is his mistery? and why he has Nagato's Rinnengan?

First:- He was the first uchiha to awake the mangekyo....
Second:- He was one of the founders of konoha....
Third:- He faught with hashirama for the title of hokage...
Fourth:- He was betrayed by his clan....sort of
Fifth:- He founded Akatsuki....
Sixth:- He made the kyubi to attack konoha....
Seventh:- He teamed up with itachi and wiped out the entire clan....
Eigth:- He became the mizukage by controlling the actual mizukage....
Ninth:- He Declared the fourth world war....

i think since his battle with the fourth he has been hiding in the shadows and learning new jutsu. the jutsu he may have learned might have twisted his mind just like it did with orchimaru
