Who is Luffy's Vegeta/Sasuke/Zuko/Riku/Kaiba/Gary Oak?

I've been thinking about getting into One Piece again, I'm still in merman introduction arc, so I was wondering if there's a badass rival type of character? I find those badass.

Just saw a pic of him, apparently it's spelled Eustass, looks like a grown man. I wonder why he's got kid as part of his name or nickname.

It just is. Yeah, haven't seen him in ages, or the name, forgot it.

He's not really a rival, but pretty sure he wishes to battle luffy. I think. HE kind of is a Rival, part of the Super Nova and all.

luffy doesnt have a rival character. but when he does get one it will be a supernova trying to be king of the pirates meaning it will most likely be eustas kid. kid is also trying to take out a yonko and its believed to be kaido judging by the animal claw like scars kid has on him.
