Edo Hidan, if he existed, could reform his body each time it gets destroyed....and so could every other Edo, for that matter.
His only unique advantage as an Edo would be the ability to go around collecting blood from hundreds of Shinobi at a time without fear of dismemberment.

I believe that over the last few months the hype from Hashirama, has proven that there is no bar that must be passed in order to become hokage, what do i mean?

Hashirama was the strongest hokage, going by the logic of kage and using the previous hokage as a bar wouldn't work. The Third hokage wasn't as strong as Hashirama, nor was Tsunade as strong as Minato.... This would indicated that their is no bar as the strength of the hokages are degraded over the years.

This is a clear indication that you don't have to be stronger than your predecessors, meaning that their is no level.

However... Strength is only one of the factors that are actually important. You need Experience, Strength, Loyalty, Bravery, Insight, Intelligence, Leadership skills and most of all Heart.

These are many things that a person must have to be deemed Kage.

Kakuzu would be a devastating Kage (if he was appointed that position for his village).. I don't really see any current Kages who can beat him except Oonoki, and maybe A.

Four Element, Five Lives, and is analytic as hell, along with fighting Hashirama and surviving.. He has some pretty nice feats.

I understand that Kage level is a way that people on this forums determine superior strength over others, although just because Naruto is stronger than Sai, doesn't mean to say that Sai wouldn't be kage level.

Giving that he has the rest of the traits.
