who is gonna be hokage afta the war

naruto started off saying he's gonna be the hokage and all. basically the anime is about naruo and him fufilling his dreams, so am guessing its gonna end with naruto being hokage. but with all the other candidates available, it wouldnt just make sense to me if naruto becomes hokage, yes i agree he's currently the strongest in his generation and even kakashi and tsunades' generation. but naruto, hokage, no. shikamaru is there and stil alive that's if ksihi doesnt kill him off, kakashi still there, was once considering neji but he's gone now. so had like to read peoples' opinion about this.
