forgive me for being petty but the only reacon kabuto didnt kill him on the spot is because he's the main character
if any other character had pulled the stunt naruto did the scalpels would have cut them beyond recognition

naruto had a week to master each of the three stages and in the fourth week is when he encountered tsunade so if my math is correct three weeks plus three days is very close to a month

The truest genius is without a question Orochimaru. Other than that there are several prodigies such as Itachi, Madara, Hashirama Senju, Sasuke, Neji, etc.

i think that you all are confused about - learning and imrpove/master
- naruto learned the 3 subtecs, which combine = (equal) rasegan
- then he met tsunade, and made a bet: in 3 days he would be capable of using rasegan
- when the 3 sannis fought, naruto for the very first time he was able to use rasegan against kabuto...
naruto mastered the tech in 3 days, but learned in three weeks
in shippuden he is adding his own natural type of chacra

I agree with some of you guys about Orochimaru being one of the most gifted ninjas in some areas but... Youndaime was better in terms of being a genius. He developed ftg, rasengan, reaper seal and many other seals and that in the age of 25 or something like that.
Whereas Oro did nothing but experiments on himself and other people.
No, he's a genius and all but Imo yondaime was beter and geinuosity.

^ hatake kakashi,to be said as the best and strongest konoha shinobi in this current time,he is the only shinobi possesed the sharingan eye but he isnt part of the uchiha clan,great intellegency in strategy and read an opponents movement,and many other things that made him called genious.
^ nara shikamaru,konoha shinobi with high IQ and intellegency,even the feudal lord shown his interest by tried to recruit this young man to join 12-guardian ninja of the feudal lord,has more than 200 possibilities to take the step and strategy,he even knocked out an immortal akatsuki member by his ownself with his intellegency,what a great young man

That's right....Shikamaru as well as his father is true genius.....He is one step ahead than anyone..We can see that every character in Naruto has different abilities, Like naruto making thounds of CLones, Uchiha with Sharingan and many other.....Similarly as said in Mangas THe Clan that Shikamaru is from the TRUE GENIUSNESS CLAN.He, with his shadow justsu he's created a lot of new techiques.....Only thing is that he is a lazy bone that makes him not count in the Most Powerful Character in Naruto.
