Who is genius.................

Who do you guys think is the greatest genius in Naruto. We have a lot of powerful people, some of them are geniuse based on hard work, and some mostly cuz of their bloodline. How do you rank them ?

My choices
1. Naruto - learned Rasengan in three days, took Rasengan to the next level, where his father and Kakashi failed. Able to use Kyuubi's chakra (not tails, just chakra, Latest chapter may say dat Naruto can now control upto 6tails) at will. Never give up attitude pushes him to greater levels.

2. Minato - Said to be the greatest ninja ever produced by Konoha. Creator of hirashin, rasengan and the shiki fuujin. Said to be a rare decade genius. He is so great that Jiraiya would have bragged.

3. Oro - Said to be once in a decade genius by the professor Sandaime. Part of the genius trio the sannin. Has created many jutsu's and has extensive knowledge of jutsu's.

4. Sasuke - Sharingan wonder boy, has amazing growth, skills wise. Was able to change chidori into multiple variations. Oro complimented that even he was nothing compared to Sasuke at his age. Mastery of Sharingan and CS gives him an edge during fights. (Now there is no CS but he has MS, no idea what he has done with his MS)

5. Shikamaru - Said to have genius intellect. Is able to imagine over 200 possiblities during a fight. Able to change strategies to include new member in an instant. His plans has a low failure rate.

Naruto learned how to use Rasengan in 3days then he atacked Tsunade and it was a failure then he mastered it in a week when he hit Kabuto with Rasengan so he is a true genius and Sasuke and Kakashi only learned powerfull jutsus because of the sharingan copy method

i would say itachi is a greater genius then sasuke or kakashi.And its obvius why.
but from the ones you spoke of i would say:

~Itachi is obviously high up there. He's quite ahead of the game, and obviously knew something about Madara we don't.
~Sasuke is good when it comes to theory (altough being able to copy moves is definatly a nice bonus).
~Naruto is good with comming up new and creative ways to use a series of three or so jutsus, finding an enemies weakness, then using it to gain the upper hand. He learns on the fly and while is retarted when it comes to theory, obviously learns very quickly.

so wait, having the sharingan is cheating...but having the rinnegan is fine??? at least multiple people have the sharingan, while the rinnegan is limited to one user at a time. and i wouldnt say the sharingan is cheating, its a bloodline, much like shodai's wood element, or haku's ice. alls fair in love and war. i mean naruto has the f*ing kyuubi inside him!! i would have to say that jman is up there, i mean he taught minato, and nagato. nagato said it himself if he knew the secret behind the rinnegan he would have won. he taught naruto. and hes a sannin. so all in all: minato/itachi/madara>jman/killerbee/naruto/sasuke/kisame>shika/kakashi/shino/neji

Umm the true genious is Naruto since noone of the listed people, i guess, was that strong at the age of 16. ;d

Shikamaru- Extremely intelligent.
Neji- The best in his clan when it's comes to using his bloodline.
Kakashi- He has worldly knowledge, and became a Jounin at a very young age.
Lee- Hardwork
Sasuke- Interpreting things
Naruto- finding ways to overcome problems.
Itachi- Extremely smart, and intepretive.

seriously now, i don't think that anyone of the above is a genius, just cause they all have one special power and they have all learned how to use it. But to me genius is not the one who is born as a genius but the one who gets there by hard work. And what i mean is that there aren't any standards for "geniusness". Cause imagine if TenTen for example eek could actually for once beat someone -anyone-. Then i would call her a genius cause she would have progressed a lot comparing to how she used to be.
So i believe Sakura is somewhat a genius...cause she used to be only a burden, but then at the shippuden series she managed to beat Sasori.

Shikamara doesn,t deserve to be in this category. What good is being smart if you cant fight. Beside everyone here other than him is a main character.
